users can be a daunting job. In today's IT environment the end user
expects more of the Service Desk than they have previously done.
Communication between users reporting problems and the Service Desk
can occur over several days, making the user frustrated and
non-productive. The helpdesk will be swamped with calls and emails
communication with the users. Why not change that and let the users
provide all the required information directly?
Accelerator Services
We have created a number of services that can directly interact
with Microsoft System Center Service Manager through our portal
Accelerator. All of these services are available through the
Accelerator portal, allowing end user communication and
interaction:

- My Approvals
- Knowledge base
- Request Service
Administrator Console Features
Accelerator also provides extended feature for the Service Manager
console. These features are available for Service Manager
Administrators through the administrator console.
- Integration with Information Manager
- Simple Incident

Atea Spintop has been working together with Microsoft to
identify and specify the need for add-ons to Service Manager. Atea
Spintop has been a part of the System Center Service Manager (SCSM)
early adopter program (TAP), since it was first opened. Atea
Spintop is also a member of System Center Alliance and presented
the Accelerator on Microsofts launch of SCSM on MMS in Las Vegas in
April 2010.
